This place hosts the beloved Bandra Wonderland 2025 as its crown jewel and is a 2-km promenade along the Arabian Sea.

Key Attractions to Witness at Bandra Wonderland

This year, Bandra Wonderland has the expansive ‘Lights of Hope’ displays. This display features themed installations like glowing Christmas trees, animated light shows and star-lit arches. These light shows are synchronized to festive music along the 2-km promenade. 

The panoramic night views of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and the Arabian Sea offer stunning backdrops that are perfect for pictures. There are several designated photo spots near the landscaped gardens where you can take countless pictures to add to your memory album. Additionally, the location also features various artistic elements, like the LED projections on the retaining walls. These beautiful installations are illuminated from evening until late at night.

You can enjoy leisurely take strolls along the waterfront, where the refreshing sea breezes create a perfect atmosphere for a nice long walk. As you walk, you can experience the stunning beauty of sunsets, which generally takes place around 6 PM. After sunset, the area transforms as beautiful light installations come to life.

In terms of entertainment, there will be live performances featuring street performers, acoustic bands playing holiday tunes, and even flash mobs. If you’re fortunate, you might catch a glimpse of celebrities near the Bandstand junction. From Face painting, wish-tree installations, to augmented reality filters via event apps this year, there are many interactive zones. 

The promenade will be hosting over 50 stalls offering Christmas crafts like handmade wreaths, bells, candles, and ornaments. There are stalls by food vendors as well, who will be serving festive treats: plum cake slices, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, hot chocolate, and Mumbai street eats like bhel puri with a holiday twist. The premium pop-ups feature artisanal chocolates and gift hampers; cashless payments are preferred due to crowds.

How To Reach Bandra Wonderland

Train

  • Take the Western Line suburban train to Bandra railway station. 
  • Get down at Bandra West. 
  • The venue is about 2 km from the station, which is a 25-30 minute walk along Carter Road or 5-6 minutes by auto-rickshaw. 

Metro

  • From Airport Road or Central Mumbai: Board Metro Line 2A/7 at stations like Sakinaka, CSM Airport T1, or Dahisar East toward Santacruz Metro Station. 
  • The travel time will be about 10-20 minutes, depending on the origin of the journey
  • The Santacruz Metro station is approximately 3-3.5 km from Carter Road Promenade
  • It is about a 40-45 minute walk. 
  • You can easily take an autorickshaw to reach the venue. 

Road

  • Take BEST bus 231 or 28 from Santacruz Station West to Khar Telephone Exchange or Carter Road stops
  • You can take a rickshaw from Bandra station. The venue is just 10-15 minutes away.
