Recently, to enhance tourism even further, Arunachal Pradesh inaugurated the Fong Fong Ma Adventure Zone at the picturesque Fong Fong Ma Falls, also known as Jang Waterfall, located in Tawang district. This project, launched by Chief Minister Pema Khandu on June 22, 2025, merges thrilling adventures with a commitment to ecological sustainability, marking a new chapter in Northeast India’s tourism landscape.
Built in collaboration with the Public Works Department in Jang, this adventure zone offers a range of attractions that showcase the stunning natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh while providing visitors with environmentally conscious experiences.

At Present, Fong Fong Ma Adventure Zone Offers Two Thrilling Attractions
Now, when we speak about the Fong Fong Ma Adventure Zone, the highlight here is a 410-meter zipline that sweeps above lush forests and cascading waterfalls, granting breathtaking views of the Himalayan foothills. High above the terrain, it combines a sense of calm with the thrill of adventure, elevating it beyond typical commercial ziplining.
Besides this, visitors can also enjoy a 30-meter giant swing, designed to give tourists a thrilling moment of exhilaration. These signature attractions represent just the beginning of a larger development plan that aims to include a glass bridge, bungee jumping stations, freshwater ponds, and various amenities for a richer visitor experience.
