This initiative, opened by the Indian Army in Zemithang as part of Operation Sadbhavna, is aimed at supporting local communities and promoting sustainable tourism in border areas.

The café has been built on a repurposed Bailey Bridge over the River Nyamjang Chu and is famous for integrating historical infrastructure with modern uses, making it the first of its kind in Northeast India. Designed to create job opportunities for the Monpa tribal community, Border Brew Café will help showcase local culture and traditions to visitors.

At the Border Brew Café, you can savor a cup of tea or coffee along with some snacks while taking in breathtaking views of the Himalayas. With a design reminiscent of a vistadome, the café provides a sweeping panorama of the stunning Himalayan landscape and the flowing river.
