When you think of Indonesia, Bali often comes to mind first. Known for its beautiful rice fields, tranquil temples, stunning waterfalls, and amazing views, Bali offers a serene landscape. However, other places in Indonesia, such as Java and Mount Bromo, are also becoming increasingly popular. And if you’re planning a trip to Indonesia soon, there’s an important update you should be aware of: the All Indonesia App is now required for all travelers. This app is created to help tourists easily handle their paperwork before arriving in Indonesia. Keep reading for all the details.
The All Indonesia app, according to Indonesian Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, reduces the arrival forms required by four key government agencies: Immigration, Customs, Health, and Quarantine. This app also provides the option to pay for a visa upon arrival, which helps minimize waiting times at entry points.
After submitting the required information, travelers will receive a QR code that should be saved to present during their arrival at immigration or customs in Indonesia.
All Indonesia App Is Now Available For Download On The App Store And Google Play Store
The app is currently available and has been in use since September 1 at three major international airports: Soekarno-Hatta (located in Banten, near Jakarta), Ngurah Rai (Bali), and Juanda (East Java).
It’s also mandatory at six international seaports in Batam, Riau Islands, including Batam Centre, Nongsa, Marina, Sekupang, Harbour Bay, and Bengkong. Travelers can fill out the form up to three days before their trip, from either their home country or at the airport, and it can also be accessed online on their official website.
Widiyanti highlighted that the app is part of the government’s Tourism 5.0 digital transformation initiative aimed at enhancing tourism through innovative technology.
Previously, travelers had to manage the Satu Sehat Health Pass in addition to the Electronic Customs Declaration.
Lastly, you must know that the All Indonesia app is free to download and is available in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Chinese. You can find it on the official All Indonesia website or download it directly from the Google Play and Apple App stores.
