After you’re done with the morning walk, you can head towards the pristine beach and explore the many food stalls set up for some breakfast by the beach. 2. Mirasol Lake Garden

After spending time at the beach, head towards this man-made Mirasol Lake Garden that has something for everyone, especially for those traveling with their families. You can choose to explore the garden on foot or hop on the toy train that takes you all around the garden.

There are also boat rides for all age groups. You can even have your lunch here as there’s a restaurant that’s smack dab in the middle of the two islands.

3. Jain Temple

Very close to the Nani Daman Fort, this temple is dedicated to Vardhaman Mahavir, the founder of Jainism. There are glass covered walls covered in 18th century murals. Built by the Portuguese to defend against the Mughals in 1559, this fort now has churches, schools, and government offices inside. You’ll even see a huge number of cannons with intricate carvings. Inside the fort, there’s the Church of Bom Jesus, the Chapel of Our Lady of Rosary, and the Church of Our Lady of Remedies. The place is a treat for all the history buffs.

Witness the epitome of Roman architecture at the Church Of Bom Jesus. The entryway is carved with detailed painting and the inside of the church has a tall ceiling that has carvings of six saints. Along with devotees, a lot of tourists also visit the church to appreciate its aesthetics and spiritual vibes.

3. Dominican Monastery

Also known as the Ruined Church,  it’s said that the Dominican Monastery was believed to be destroyed by an earthquake. Explore the arches and walls that withstood the disaster and learn all about its history. The Catholics celebrate two occasions at the monastery each year. On 2nd February, they gather to revive the stories of the monastery. The second one is on 3rd December when they plan a mass to commemorate Saint Dominic.

4. Jampore Beach

Form a full circle and end your trip at Jampore Beach. You can enjoy parasailing and motorboats to raise your adrenaline levels. You’ll even find a variety of alcohol stalls where you can drink until your heart’s content and not burn a hole in your wallet!
