The very first edition of the Rajasthan Film Carnival 2026 is set to be organized at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) on October 3, 2026. It will be organized by Star Films Infotainment with the support of the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan. This announcement was made by Rajasthan State President (Pradeshadhyaksh) of the Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, Ujagar Singh Dabla.
The primary objective of this film carnival is to promote the culture, language, and regional cinema of Rajasthan. At the same time, it will recognize the contributions of directors, writers, technicians, producers, actors, and everyone else associated with the film industry. It will surely encourage more film production in Rajasthan, which will in turn create more opportunities for emerging talents. The event is expected to contribute to the growth of art, culture and tourism in the state.
There will be a panel of expert juries who will be evaluating the nominated films and artists across 25 categories. The selected artists and films will be honored at the event.
