1. Suru Valley, Sankoo And Panikhar Sector

4. Wakha River Valley

5. Mulbekh And The Rock-Cut Chamba

Author’s Note
When I visited Kargil in October last year, the weather was just what I was expecting. The daytime was so pleasantly warm that being outside was all I wanted to do. However, the temperature drops pretty rapidly after 4 PM. So, I would advise you to carry plenty of warm clothes, especially if your tolerance for cold, like mine, isn’t very high.
It is also imperative that you keep an eye out for the weather updates at Zoji La Pass. If there is a sudden snowfall, chances are that you will end up facing a road closure, especially if you’re traveling from Srinagar.
