You can even set up a camp at the beach or book a room at the hotels nearby, all at affordable prices. Swimming is allowed here, but be mindful of the waves that come crashing down.
The beach is located close to the Revdanda Fort, built by the Portuguese. You’ll also hear people call it Revdanda Aagarkot in the local dialect. There are two entrances to the fort from the northern and southern sides. The northern entrance opens to the land while the latter opens to the sea through the Revdanda Creek. Today, you’ll find the fort in ruins with some relics remaining in the western compound. The remaining fort was transformed into the Revdanda village.
