Airtel, Vi Expand Coverage On Aqua Line Till BKC, Acharya Atre Chowk

Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have expanded their mobile network coverage on the Aqua Line of the Mumbai Metro network (Line 3). The restored services were announced recently, and it was also stated that this restoration will take place in a phased manner. The connectivity will make travel more convenient for passengers. Here are all of the other important details that you would need to know about this particular new update regarding the Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3.

Airtel, Vi Expand Coverage On Aqua Line

As of now, Airtel has begun providing mobile network coverage between the Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ) and the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) stations on the line. Vi, on the other hand, provides connectivity between SEEPZ and Acharya Atre Chowk stations.

If reports are to go by, Vi is planning on providing connectivity to the Cuffe Parade Station soon. Airtel, too, has planned on providing connectivity on the entire line by the end of June. Once they do, passengers will be able to access seamless connectivity when traveling on the line.

Reliance Jio To Offer Connectivity By Next Month

Reliance Jio, too, will soon offer connectivity on the Aqua Line. As of now, Jio has conducted a survey of the corridor. Pretty soon, they will commence the work of installing the network. If reports are to go by, it is estimated that by the end of the following month, Jio will be able to provide connectivity on the entirety of the Aqua Line.

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) is cooperating fully with the various telecom operators in order to enable proper connectivity on the entire Metro line spanning from Aarey JVLR to Cuffe Parade. Within the next month, all of these networks will be able to offer seamless connectivity on the line.
