This year, Ram Navami will be celebrated on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in India. It is the celebration of Lord Rama’s birth, who is the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ram Navami generally falls on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, the ninth day of the Chaitra month of the Hindu Lunar calendar. 

The navami tithi will begin on March 26, 2026, from 11:48 AM to March 27, 2026, at 10:06 AM. It is considered to be an auspicious day for purchasing new assets or a new beginning. According to the Hindu scriptures, Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, and hence the city celebrates this day with great fervour and enthusiasm.
