PVR INOX Makes History With India’s Highest Cinema At 11,500 Feet In Ladakh

When you think of breathtaking mountain ranges and high-altitude destinations, Ladakh often comes to mind! This incredible region, known as the land of high passes, is famous for its stunning Pangong Lake and the Khardung La Pass. Additionally, it is also home to the world’s highest motorable pass, Mig La Pass. And now, to further enhance its appeal and offer some entertainment for visitors, PVR INOX has inaugurated India’s highest cinema location with the opening of Ladakh’s first multiplex, situated at an impressive altitude of 11,500 feet. Perched at an altitude of 11,500 feet, this two-screen cinema can be found in Solar Colony, Saboo, along the Leh-Manali Bypass Road. This new cinema in Ladakh marks PVR INOX’s first venture into the region, and it operates under their Franchise Owned Company Operated (FOCO) approach. The multiplex includes two auditoriums, both outfitted with 2K projection, Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound, and cutting-edge 3D technology.

PVR INOX In Ladakh Will Also Have Leh’s First Food Court

Additionally, the cinema boasts Leh’s first food court, developed in collaboration with Devyani International Limited, offering a variety of food and drink options, including KFC, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee, and Vaango.
