Set in early 1900s St. Petersburg, the story follows a young girl named Marie. Marie receives a magical Nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. Her whimsical journey whisks her away into a fantastical world filled with animated toy soldiers, mouthwatering sweets, and the graceful Sugar Plum Fairy – all beautifully showcased through stunning choreography and mesmerizing ice dancing.
This rendition of The Nutcracker draws inspiration from E.T.A. Hoffmann’s beloved tale as well as the classic ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Lev Ivanov. With the visionary direction of Tony Mercer, alongside Olympic champion Evgeny Platov and World Champion Maxim Staviski, this production is set to create a truly unforgettable experience.
