Mumbai Airport T1 By Metro

Reaching Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) Terminal 1 from Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3: 

  • Board the Aqua Line (Line 3) train headed towards the airport T1 station. 
  • The CSMI Airport T1 metro station on Aqua Line provides direct access via a sheltered walkway to the T1 terminal area. The station exit is near the Ola/Uber pickup zone and food court outside the airport, which is about 100-150 meters from the terminal entrance.
  • If you are coming from another metro line, such as the Blue Line at Marol Naka, you can transfer to the Aqua Line at Marol Naka station itself, and take the train towards T1.
  • The trip time from Marol Naka to the Airport T1 station is approximately 6 minutes. 

Mumbai Airport T2 By Metro

Reaching Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) Terminal 2 from Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3: 

  • Board the Aqua Line 3 train towards the CSMI Airport T2 station. This is a dedicated underground metro station directly connected to Terminal 2 of the airport.
  • A direct metro exit bridge of 100 metres connects the station to Terminal 2 from Lift Entry/Exit A1. It reduces the walking distance from 450 meters to 118 meters, making it very convenient.
  • You can access Aqua Line 3 from various stations, including Marol Naka, and it connects major locations like Andheri, Sahar Road, and Bandra Kurla Complex before reaching the airport terminals.

How To Exit: Mumbai Airport Terminal 1 To Metro

  • Exit Mumbai Airport Terminal 1 and walk about 100 to 150 meters to the nearby underground metro station named “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport – T1 Metro Station.” The station is directly connected for easy access.
  • Board the Aqua Line 3 train at this station. The Aqua Line 3 connects key points such as Cuffe Parade, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), and Aarey.
  • Trains generally run every 5 minutes during peak hours.
  • Tickets can be purchased at ticket counters or vending machines at the metro station.

Mumbai Airport Terminal 2 To Metro

  • Exit Mumbai Airport Terminal 2 and head to the nearby underground metro station named “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport – T2 Metro Station.” It is directly connected via a foot overbridge about 100 meters from the terminal entrance.
  • This T2 station is part of the Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3, which runs fully underground, connecting to Terminal 1 and other key locations such as Andheri, BKC, and South Mumbai (Cuffe Parade).
  • Board the Aqua Line 3 train here to travel to your destination or to return to other parts of the city.
  • Trains operate approximately every 5 minutes during peak hours
  • Purchase tickets either from vending machines or ticket counters within the metro station.

Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3: Ticket Prices, Timings and More

Ticket Price: The price of the ticket is distance-based. It starts from INR 10 for short trips, i.e, up to 3 km, and goes up to INR 70 for the longest journeys on the Aqua Line 3.

Timings: Trains operate approximately every 5 minutes during peak hours, starting from 5:55 am until 10:30 pm. 

Accessibility: Facilities at the station include luggage support, full accessibility for disabled passengers, platform screen doors, air-conditioned coaches, and a seamless and comfortable travel experience.

New 100 Metre Bridge That Connects Metro to CSMIA T2

A new 100-metre foot overbridge directly connects the Metro Aqua Line 3 to  CSMIA Terminal 2 (T2). This bridge helps air travelers by reducing the walking distance from around 450 metres to just 118 metres.

The foot overbridge is a steel structure, approximately 4.3 metres wide and 3 metres high, built about 23 metres above ground level.  It enables passengers to walk straight into the airport without negotiating busy roads or traffic crossings.
