Saiyaara Filming Locations Revealed: Know Where The Ahaan-Aneet Musical Romance Was Filmed

St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai

St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai is no alien to Bollywood film shootings – the college has featured in hundreds of Hindi films like Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na, Hitchki, Main Hoon Na, Jawan, and many more! The list has one more addition to it – Saiyaara. 

The college, built in the Indo-Gothic architecture style, sets the stage for Krish’s (Ahaan Panday) first-ever musical performance. The scene, filmed as a flashback, gives the viewers a glimpse into the early days of Krish’s stardom, and the charm of the college’s interiors only makes the scene more effective.

Naggar Castle, Manali

The Naggar Castle, once a royal palace, has been featured in Saiyaara to film an emotional reunion between Krish and Vaani (Aneet Padda). Made entirely of wood and stone, it was built in 1460 by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. The castle pays homage to the western Himalayan style of architecture and houses an art museum on one side of the castle.

CSMT is a terminus not only the starting terminus for long-distance trains but also all suburban trains. This iconic landmark has been featured in countless Indian movies and in Saiyaara, featured in a pivotal scene that defined Krish’s ‘A Star is Born’ moment.

Our Lady Of The Immaculate Conception Church was initially built as a small chapel. However, it was replaced by a larger church that we see today. It also has the second largest bell in Goa as well! This bell was removed from the Augustinian ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Grace of Old Goa. Overall, this church in Panaji, also quite close to the historic Portuguese Quarters of Fontainhas, is a must-visit when you’re in Goa.

Bandra Fort, also known as Castella de Aguada, is a historic fort that was completed in 1640. The fort has served as an important bastion for the Portuguese and the Maratha. It was in a state of partial ruin until it was renovated recently. Today, the fort has been renovated significantly, now housing a garden, an amphitheater, and beautiful landscaping.
