Torii is that swanky fine dining place in Mumbai where the interiors will enchant you more – sometimes even more than the food! It serves progressive Asian cuisine, with dishes like Thai Chicken Mushi Gyoza, Sea Bass in XO sauce, and Rock Shrimp Tempura among many others. The original restaurant is housed inside a 90-year-old Portuguese bungalow while the one in Juhu is housed inside an old recording studio. The Bandra space is bold and red and proudly maximalist while the Juhu one embraces the calm, almost European-inspired breezy ambiance with splashes of white and green.

Scarlett House in Juhu also has the country’s first Hydration Bar – a bar that serves not alcohol but healthy drinks such as coolers, health shots, and other such beverages. The restaurant is directly inspired by R. K. Narayan’s award-winning literary work, Malgudi Days. And while some of you might have been there, the restaurant is a culinary landmark in its own right. The restaurant, located on the 48th floor of the Kohinoor Square, provides panoramic views of the Mumbai skyline.

Besides gorgeous views, the restaurant in itself feels like you’ve just walked onto the sets of Dune. The sandy, almost desert-like ambiance is filled with warm lights, swanky decor, and even an indoor pool! 

Bastian – At The Top has a diverse menu, from coastal European delicacies to desi Indian flavors. While you’re here, do not forget to try some of their famous menu items like Crispy Chicken Bao, Aburi Miso Salmon Sushi, Pork Ribs, and the viral Matilda Cake.
