Amrit Udyan has been rightfully described as the heart of Rashtrapati Bhavan, encompassing the East Lawn, Central Lawn, Long Garden, and Circular Garden, along with newer additions developed during the presidencies of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Shri Ram Nath Kovind—namely, Herbal-I, Herbal-II, Tactile Garden, Bonsai Garden, and Arogya Vanam.
This year’s Amrit Udyan promises to be a stunning showcase of landscaping, featuring an array of unique seasonal flowers, including Coleus, Celosia, and Tuberose.
In addition, visitors can look forward to surprise setups along with various attractions, such as the Bal Vatika, a special children’s garden featuring a 225-year-old Sheesham tree, a treehouse, and a Nature Classroom.
A bustling food court offers refreshments while visitors can enjoy ongoing exhibitions throughout the gardens. The garden will be accessible exclusively to certain groups on two specific dates: August 29, 2025, for athletes and sports enthusiasts in celebration of National Sports Day, and September 5, 2025, for educators in recognition of Teachers’ Day.
Although entry is free, it’s recommended to book your visit in advance.
