The Ministry of Railways has introduced ‘RailOne,’ a complete package for all passenger services. This innovative app was officially launched by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in New Delhi. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
RailOne aims to enhance the experience of railway passengers. It is an easy-to-use app available for download on the Play Store and the App Store. Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), a public sector company in the railway sector, the app combines various passenger services into one platform.
What Can You Expect From The RailOne App
With RailOne, users can enjoy benefits like a 3% discount on unreserved and platform tickets, live train tracking, support for complaints, e-catering services, porter bookings, and last-mile taxi options. Reserved tickets will still be available through IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation), which is also connected with RailOne like other commercial apps.

In addition to ticketing, it includes an R-Wallet feature for handling transactions. With RailOne, passengers can handle everything from reserved and unreserved tickets to food services and train inquiries all in one convenient location.
The app also features a single sign-on system that allows users to log in using mPIN or biometrics, and it also works with existing RailConnect and UTS accounts. UTS is the mobile app for booking unreserved tickets for daily commuters.
RailOne is designed to bring together various railway services in one place, making it easier for users to access all functionalities related to the Indian Railways.
