First-Ever Direct Train From Bengaluru To Rishikesh Set To Roll Out On June 19

Traveling from South India to the scenic hills of North India without the hassle of multiple cabs, buses, trains, and flights has long been a dream. However, that dream is about to become a reality. A direct train service from Bengaluru to Rishikesh in Uttarakhand is on the way. Yes, you read that right! Indian Railways is set to launch its first direct train service from Bengaluru to Rishikesh starting on June 19, 2025. This new connection aims to improve travel between South and North India, making it easier for pilgrims and tourists to visit the beautiful town of Rishikesh.

Train From Bengaluru To Rishikesh, the Yeshwantpur–Rishikesh Express Special will run on select dates, making travel easier for those heading to Rishikesh. The train, identified as Train No. 06597/06598, departs from Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru, at 7 AM on June 19, 26, and July 3, reaching Rishikesh at 10:20 AM the following day. For the return journey, Train No. 06598 will leave Rishikesh at 5:55 PM on June 21, 28, and July 5, arriving back in Yeshwantpur at 7:45 PM the next day. This service caters to both spiritual travelers and vacationers alike.
