IPL To Resume And The Finale To Take Place On June 3 Instead Of May 31
Games will take place in cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad, with the final being held on June 3. Four games will take place at neutral sites: Chennai Super Kings will face off against Rajasthan Royals in Delhi, Punjab Kings will host Delhi Capitals in Jaipur, SunRisers Hyderabad will go up against Kolkata Knight Riders in Delhi, and Punjab Kings will battle Mumbai Indians in Jaipur.
The BCCI expressed gratitude to India’s armed forces for their efforts, which made it safe for cricket to return. Details on where the playoff matches will happen will be shared later. The Board emphasizes its commitment to the nation while working to successfully finish the tournament.
The IPL 2025 season was put on hold last week amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. However, following a ceasefire declared on Saturday, the way has been opened for the highly anticipated T20 tournament to continue.
Who Is Leading The Game
The Gujarat Titans hold the leading position in the points standings, accumulating 16 points from 11 games. They are followed closely by RCB, the Punjab Kings, and the Mumbai Indians.
