We have exciting news for those living in Delhi-NCR and Noida! The first-ever Deer Park and Sunset Safari in Noida is being developed at the Biodiversity Park in Sector 91. This eco-friendly project highlights a strong dedication to sustainability and biodiversity.
Lokesh M, the CEO of Noida Authority, announced that the development will occur in phases, strictly following environmental guidelines. “We are implementing the Deer Park and Sunset Safari gradually, and we will engage two expert consultants to guide the planning and execution,” he stated.
Covering an area of 30 acres, the park aims to provide visitors with a fun and educational experience, with an estimated investment of INR 40 crore. A comprehensive project report (DPR) is being crafted with the help of a retired district forest officer to ensure both ecological integrity and effective operations.
The Deer Park Will Be Home To 132 Deers
If you are wondering what all should you expect at the Deer Park, continue reading. The Deer Park will be home to 132 deer from 10 different species, transforming it into a carefully managed, zoo-like environment. Many animals will be brought in from well-known zoos in Lucknow, Kanpur, and Hyderabad, while exotic species like Springbok, Impala, Wildebeest, and Lesser Kudu will be imported from Africa. Additionally, deer rescued from near the Noida International Airport will be relocated here for their protection and care.
Besides this, an exciting highlight of the park will be its Sunset Safari, which will run in the evening until 10 PM. This safari will feature special lighting technology that allows visitors to see clearly while creating a natural ambiance for the animals, helping to maintain their comfort and nocturnal behaviors.
