The participation in the Mahakumbh has been phenomenal, surpassing the population numbers of many countries; only China and India have populations larger than the number of attendees. This gathering is particularly special, occurring only once every 144 years due to a unique planetary alignment, as opposed to the traditional Kumbh Mela that takes place every 12 years at different sacred locations.

Lastly, for this event, the government invested more than Rs 7,500 crore, expecting substantial economic returns. The 2025 Maha Kumbh has undoubtedly solidified its place as one of the most influential religious gatherings in history, attracting everyone from Bollywood stars like Katrina Kaif to world leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
