The holiday calendar is divided into parts. Some holidays are gazetted holidays, meaning everyone observes them, while others are restricted holidays that can be taken based on individual beliefs.
January 2025
The first month of 2025 begins with a holiday on January 1st, which is a Wednesday. Other notable dates in January 2025 include January 6th, which is Guru Gobind Singh’s Birthday – this is a restricted holiday.
January 14th observes Makar Sankranti/Pongal, also a restricted holiday. Additionally, Republic Day falls on January 26th, 2025, which is a Sunday.
February 2025
In February 2025, Basant Panchami falls on the 2nd, and Shivaji Jayanti is on the 19th; both are restricted holidays. Maha Shivratri, on the 26th, is a gazetted holiday.
March 2025
