The movie stars Farhan Akhtar, Raashii Khanna, Ajinkya Deo, Vivaan Bhatena, Eijaz Khan, and Sparsh Walia in prominent roles. Set for a November 21, 2025 release, the intense plot of the movie and the spectacular visuals seen in the trailer have captivated audiences. Now, let’s understand where 120 Bahadur was shot.
120 Bahadur Filming Locations
While most movies in India are shot using artificial effects and indoor sets more than ever, 120 Bahadur deviates from that route. Much of the movie has been shot in real-life locations, especially in Ladakh, Jaipur, and Mumbai. The Ladakh 120 Bahadur shoot location is also the region where Farhan Akhtar shot Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Rezang La
This movie was shot at an altitude of more than 14,000 feet in the region of Ladakh. We’re talking about barren deserts, snow-covered peaks, and Ladakhi skies that seem almost infinite. It was reported that the crew of the movie shot in landscapes where temperatures would often go down to -5°C or even -10°C! Despite the challenges, such as shooting in minus 10 degrees Celsius, the cast and crew did not give up and accomplished this herculean task!
The valley of Rezang La, where the movie was shot, lies east of the Indian-administered Chushul Valley in Ladakh. While ownership of this land has been a topic of geo-political controversy, the valley is known for the Rezang La War Memorial. This memorial pays tribute to the martyrs of the 1962 battle of Rezang La.
Jaipur and Mumbai

The movie has also been shot in Jaipur, Rajasthan, so expect to see the natural beauty of this state. We’re talking about crimson-colored sunsets, forts glistening in the tender daylight, and a glimpse of Rajasthani culture. Along with Jaipur, the movie has also been shot in Mumbai; however, details of these shoots have not been disclosed yet.
About The Battle Of Rezang La
The movie is based on the real-life battle of Rezang La that took place on November 18, 1962. Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China War, Chinese troops launched a large-scale offensive against Indian troops in the Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh areas. Leading the Rezang La defense was Major Shaitan Singh, in charge of the 13th Kumaoni Battalion Regiment. In their fight against the Chinese, it is reported that close to 114 Indian soldiers lost their lives, including Singh himself.
